Introduction

I found a recipe in the book that came with my new bread machine. I substituted Splenda for the sugar and Egg Beaters for the eggs to come up with a lower fat/lower calorie recipe. Ingredients

    1 c. milk
    1/4 c. oil
    2 cups mashed bananas
    1 cup Egg Beaters
    1/2 cup Splenda
    1/2 cup brown sugar
    3 cups flour
    2 tsp baking soda
    2 tsp salt

Directions

Bake in bread machine using quick bread setting. Cut into 12 slices.

    I tried to make this recipe, but it didn't work out. I have a maximum capacity of 1.5 pounds, and this must be bigger than that. The flour didn't get completely mixed in. If you have a smaller bread machine, this recipe probably won't work. It smelled delicious though! - 7/20/10
