i couldn't find the spices on the recipe calculater but im sure thet have next to nothing cals in such small amounts!
YUMMY morrocan style vegetarian stew- VERY quick, low in fat, salt and calories and very filling...

Number of Servings: 4

Ingredients

    1 can (410grms) chickpeas
    Pack Quorn mince
    can tinned tomatoes
    1 red onion
    1 tbsp tomato ketchup
    squeeze of tomato puree
    handful of parsley (plus extra to garnish)
    pinch of salt
    black pepper
    half tsp of ground paprika, tumeric, cayenne pepper, corriander and cumin
    2 cloves Garlic
    dash of chilli sauce
    olive oil for frying

Directions

right so...
-first combine spices and gently heat in frying pan with oil until slightly darkened.
-add onion and brown
-and quorn mince and cook for 2-3 mins
-then open tin of chickpeas (washed) and add, along with chopped garlic.
-add tin of tomatoes, along with ketchup, tomato puree, tbsp of water and dash off chilli sauce. stir well.
season with salt and pepper.
bring up to boil then simmer on low heat for 25/30 mins untill has a slightly thicker consistency.
add chopped parsley.
stir through again.
serve with couscous or green salad if desired.

    Very Good
    Really quick and easy to make. Next time I'd cut the cayenne to 1/4 tsp - purely a personal thing. Need to keep an eye on the liquid as there's not a lot in the recipe. I re-filled the tomato tin with water and added that. Great portion size. - 4/1/14
