Ingredients

    2 pears, peeled and sliced
    3 apples, peeled and sliced
    1 cup whole wheat bread crumbs
    1/2 cup brown sugar
    2 TB butter
    1 tsp cinnamon

Directions

Melt the butter and combine with the bread crumbs and 1/4 cup brown sugar. Add 1/2 of fruit to small crock pot bowl, sprinkle with 1/8 cup brown sugar and 1/2 tsp cinnamon. Scatter half of the bread crumb mixture on top. Add the remaining fruit, 1/8 cup sugar and 1/2 tsp cinnamon. Sprinkle with remaining bread crumbs.

Cook on high for 2 to 3 hours, until fruit is cooked through and mixture is bubbly.
