Ingredients

1 medium carrot, peeled and chunked
1 large orange, see note.
1 medium apple, see note
1 small can pineapple juice, about 6 fl. oz.
5 ice cubes
Directions
This recipe requires a heavy duty blender, such as a VitaMix or a K-tech.
Place peeled and chunked carrot in blender jar.
Peel the colored portion only of the orange skin, leaving the white pith. Quarter and add to jar.
Quarter the apple. Remove any discolored spots, leaving the core intact. Add to jar.
Add pineapple juice and ice to jar. Replace lid. With variable speed control at 0 start blender. Increase speed to 10, then flip switch to high. Run until the mixture is smooth, less than one minute.
