Ingredients

Seasoning Mix:
4 tbsp Chili Powder
2.5 tsp Coriander, ground
2.5 tsp Cumin, ground
1.5 tsp Garlic, minced
1 tsp Oregano, ground
0.5 tsp Cayenne Pepper, ground
Chili
2 lbs Turkey, ground
1 tbsp Minced raw onions
1 (28-ounce) can Diced Tomatoes, No Salt Added
1 (15-ounce) can Tomato Sauce
2 (15-ounce) can Red Kidney Beans
Directions
Mix together seasoning mix.
Store in a seal-tight container in a cool dry place. (You will only use 6 tsp in this recipe – save the rest for next time).
In a skillet, cook ground turkey until no longer pink.
Drain.
Add onion and 4 tsp of seasoning mix.
In crock pot, add tomatoes, tomato sauce, one can of beans, and two more teaspoons of seasoning mix. Stir together.
Place the other can of beans in a sauce pan and mash with a potato masher until thoroughly mashed.
Add beans and meat to the crock pot. Mix thoroughly.
Cook on low for 6 to 8 hours.
