    2 tsp Garlic powder
    1 tsp Pepper, black
    2 tbsp Olive Oil
    4 cup, chopped Cabbage, fresh
    1 cup, diced Celery, raw
    2 cup, chopped Onions, raw
    2 cup Peas and carrots, frozen
    4 medium whole (2-3/5" dia) Red Ripe Tomatoes
    16 oz Ground beef, lean
    6.72 cup Aylmer Canned diced tomatoes
    2 cup Pole Beans-Frozen
    7.20 cup beef broth (Campbell's) low salt, fat free
    1 tsp Salt


I was trying to use up some previously frozen vegetables from my freezer. The small frozen tomatoes I puréed with some of the broth before adding to the soup.


Brown beef, olive oil, add onions, celery, cabbage. Sauté lightly, add remaining ingredients and spices. Simmer gently till vegetables are done. Season to taste.

Serving Size: 12 x 450g servings
