Ingredients

Burger Mix:
- 1 lbs ground chicken
- 1 T lite soy sauce
- 2 cloves garlic
- 1 onion
- 1 t ginger
- 1 t cumin
- 1 t basil
- 1 t red pepper flakes
- 1 tsp sugar
- 1 cup cabbage mix*
- 1 cup bean sprouts*
Peanut Sauce:
- 1/4 cup coconut milk
- 1 garlic clove
- 3 T peanut butter
- 2 T Chinese hot sauce (or any hot sauce)
*equally distribute the cabbage mix and the sprouts on the burger when done cooking.
Directions
Heat outdoor grill to medium-high or indoor grill to 325 degrees F.
Peanut sauce: Place coconut milk in saucepan and bring to a near boil (but not boiling). Add remaining ingredients. Simmer until well blended.
Mix chicken, soy sauce, garlic, onion, sugar, cumin, pepper flakes, basil, and ginger in a bowl. Shape into 6 patties. Grill burgers approximately 4 to 5 minutes on each side or until juices run clear when pierced. Place each burger on a whole wheat bun* with cabbage and bean sprouts. Spread peanut sauce on the bun and serve.
- Extra tasty with a nice salad and an Asian inspired dressing for a side.
*Whole wheat buns are not added into calorie count.
