Ingredients

Topping:
1/4 c. all-purpose flour
1/4 c. packed brown sugar
1/4 c. white sugar
1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon
1/4 c. butter (room temperature)
1/4 c. quick rolled oats
1 tbsp. flax seed
Batter:
3/4 c. white sugar
1/4 c. butter (room temperature)
2 large eggs
1 tsp. grated orange zest
1 tsp. pure vanilla extract
2 cups all-purpose flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. buttermilk
2 cups blueberries
Directions
Topping:
~In small bowl combine flour, brown sugar, white sugar, oats and cinnamon. Cut in butter until mixture is crumbly.
Batter:
~In large bowl, beat sugar and butter until fluffy. Beat in eggs, one at a time. Beat in zest and vanilla.
~In medium bowl, combine flour, baking powder and salt. Stir flour mixture and buttermilk alternately into egg mixture, beginning and ending with flour mixture. Stir in blueberries.
~Spread better evenly in greased 8-inch square baking dish. Sprinkle evenly with topping, and then sprinkle with flax seeds.
~Bake @ 375 F (190 C) for 30 minutes, then cover loosely with foil and bake another 10 - 15 minutes, or when top springs back when lightly pressed in the centre.
~Let cool in baking dish on rack.
