Ingredients

    1 lb. ground beef
    1 small onion, chopped
    1/2 cup chopped green pepper
    1/2 to 1 small jalapeno
    1 can (15 oz.) kidney beans, drained, rinsed
    1 can (15 oz) black beans, drained, rinsed
    1 can (14-1/2 oz.) whole tomatoes, undrained 1 can (8 oz.) tomato sauce
    1 Tbsp. chili powder

Directions

Makes 6 servings

BROWN meat in large skillet on medium heat; drain. Add onions and peppers; cook and stir 5 min. or until tender.

ADD beans, tomatoes, tomato sauce and chili powder; mix well. Reduce heat to low; cover. Simmer 30 min., stirring occasionally

You may season with more jalapeno and chili powder until taste

    Incredible!
    I left out the jalepeno, used 2 tbs chili powder, and one teaspoon cumin. I also substituted ground turkey. This was so satisfying for a chili that is made quickly. My husband just love it and so did i. - 10/26/08

    Yummy. I added a tsp of cumin, and some chopped fresh cilantro. - 10/13/08
