Introduction

I created this dessert as a substitute to pie, it smells great and is a wonderful comfort food I created this dessert as a substitute to pie, it smells great and is a wonderful comfort food

Ingredients

    2 medium apples
    1 cup apple juice
    1 tsp cinnamon
    1/2 tsp ground ginger
    1 tbsp vanilla extract
    1 tbsp honey

Directions

decore and peel the apples the chop into rough, uneven chunks, bite sized.

Saute the apples, cinnamon and ginger in a medium pan, stirring gently about 5-6 minutes until soft and fragrant. Add apple juice and vanilla and bring to a gentle boil for 5 minutes.

Serve evenly into 4 bowls and drizzle with honey. Great warm or cold!

May add over fat free frozen yogurt, just make sure to calculate that in.
