Introduction

Great alternative to vegtable soup. This does take a while in the crock pot but its super easy.I use a whole chicken (3.5 lbs) that I roast in the oven we eat 1/2 for one meal and the rest I freeze with the bones and save for this soup. So nothing goes to waste. Great alternative to vegtable soup. My family really enjoyed your recipe. Even though I don't own a crock pot. On top of the stove was just as good. Thanks - 11/9/08
