Introduction

My mother's always made this with linguine, but I find any good pasta works well. My mother's always made this with linguine, but I find any good pasta works well.

Ingredients

4 cans or 1 cup of canned clams (2 minced, 2 whole), 2 tbsp. olive oil, 3 cloves garlic (or to taste), a dash of lemon juice, dash of salt, dash of black pepper, 1 tsp. ground oregano, and 4 cups pasta.

Directions

Slice and/or crush the garlic to your liking. In a saucepan or skillet, saute the garlic in 2 tsp. olive oil. Add both cans of clams (with juice) and heat over medium. Over time, add as much of the remaining olive oil as you desire. Continue heating the sauce, stirring fairly often. Add salt, pepper, lemon juice and oregano to taste.

Boil water and cook 4 cups of pasta. Drain pasta and serve with sauce.
