    1/2 cup sliced strawberries

Directions

**calorie count is based on 1/4 cup serving**

*if you have a grinder, you can use it. if not, a food processor will work, but you'll have to cut the fruit down to fit your machine. i recommend processing the types of fruits separately to avoid over chopping softer fruits.*

-Wash all fruit and cut any as needed.
-Squash cranberries and put in food processor. Chop till all cranberries have been turned to small chunks (not mush). Put diced cranberries in bowl.
-Chop strawberries and apple in processor, being careful not to let them get too mushy. Add this to cranberry mix in bowl.
-Cut orange into chunks leaving the skin and pith in tact. Remove any seeds. Run orange through processor. (this may require you to dice the orange peel before adding to the processor depending on your machine's capabilities)
-Add orange bits to other fruit in bowl, mix all thoroughly.

-The original recipe does not have strawberries and instead calls for 1.5 cups of sugar to be added to the completed mixture. The sugar needs to sit for 45 minutes until fully dissolved. I didn't want to add refined sugar, so I added the strawberries instead. The mixture without sugar is a bit tart, but it's not overpowering, and I liked it. Leaving out some of the orange peel reduces the tartness.
