It is a very tasty indian dish and is low on the calories also. The only drawback I would say about this recipe is that the mung/green gram has to be soaked for a long time, min 6-7hrs. Ingredients

    Mung Gram - 1 cup
    Curry leaves- 2 strands
    Hing/Asafoetida - a dash
    Green Chilli(green chile pepper)- 5 medium ones
    Ginger roots ground - 2 tsps
    Salt- as req
    Cayene red pepper pwder- 1 tsp
    Tumeric powder - 1/4 tsp
    Oil- 1Tbsp

Directions

Soak mung overnight or atleast for 6-7hrs. Grind into fine paste with the rest of the ingredients and necessary water. It is better to use the water you soaked the mung for grinding. Check the taste and adjust the heatness and salt. Heat the pan. Pour one spoon and spread into thin pancake/ dosa..Make thin pancakes/ dosas.sprinkle few drops of oil and spread well on the dosa with the spoon. once its cooked turn it around and cook for 30-50 seconds.Tastes good with tomato chutney/indian sauce and Sambhar.
