    1 tablespoon sugar

    1/4 cup maple syrup
    4 whole eggs, fresh large
1 1/2 cups shredded Cheddar cheese
1/2 pound bacon, cooked and diced

Directions

In mixing bowl combine biscuit mix, sugar, milk, eggs, syrup, and 1/2 cup cheese. Mix well. Pour into greased 13x9x2 baking pan. Bake uncovered at 425 degrees for 10-15 min. or until toothpick inserted near center comes out clean. Sprinkle with bacon and remaining cheese then bake additional 3-5min. until cheese is melted. Serve with syrup if desired.

Makes around 12, 3in servings

We have made this recipe with crumbled sausage, it changes the nutritional value but it is still great either way. Enjoy.

There are a couple comments about the picture not matching. This happens frequently and I find it a bit annoying. It's hard to believe that someone in the Sparkpeople kitchen can't take out their cellphone to take a picture of the recipe they just made. Come on Spark Guy help us out! - 12/26/14

Honestly, the picture of this recipe looks like there are sliced potatoes on the top. I was hoping to find a breakfast casserole that included potatoes. - 9/11/14

There's no way you can get 12 servings out of this so the nutrition info is not correct. It's only 4 eggs and 1/2 lb of bacon so that isn't going to feed 12 people unless they only eat a tablespoon of it. It would be more accurate to say it's 4 servings at almost 600 calories each - 12/30/15

Why does this picture show potatoes on the top? Can someone please post a pic from the actual recipe? - 11/16/14

I've made this recipe a couple of times and it came out great every time! For those needing this meal to be lower in calories, a few substitutes like turkey bacon, no calorie sugar, etc. and the calories will drop by nearly 50 calories a serving! - 7/31/12
