Great dish, but the sodium content will give a person a heart attack. - 1/17/09

*For both the soups (Chicken broth and Cream of Mushroom) make sure you buy low- or no- sodium versions. It cuts down on the sodium without cutting down on the taste.

  • Don't add the rice right away, it gets mushy, tasteless, and nasty looking. The safest way is to make rice separately. If making ahead of time and rice is cold, add for the last 30min, possibly less. If the rice is still warm, for the last 5min. - 6/21/16
