Ingredients

-1 serving of Whey Protein Powder, vanilla (nutritional information will vary depending on brand of powder used)
    -2 cups of spinach leaves
    -1 small banana
    -1 cup of frozen blueberries
    -1 cup 1% milk
    -1 cup ice
add one tbsp of honey to sweeten if desired (not included in nutritional info)

Directions

**Using frozen blueberries helps lower the temperature of the smoothie making it more like a milk-shake.**
Dump spinach leaves in a blender first followed by the protein powder and milk. Add the remaining ingredients last to help weigh down the spinach.
Blend on high until shake-like consistancy is achieved.
ENJOY!

Makes about 24 oz. I drink the entire thing myself as a higher calorie post-workout breakfast, but makes plenty for two servings.

    Incredible!
This is almost the same as my recipe, except I use unsweetened vanilla almond milk. So good! - 2/27/11

    Very Good
This was surprisingly tasty! Favor was very good and you can't beat the nutrition. I stayed full for a long time. My only complaint was the gritty texture. - 4/4/09
