Ingredients
-
1 lb. ground turkey
2 TBS. light mayo
1.5 cups 2% shredded cheddar cheese
1 packet onion soup mix
1 package Hawaiian Rolls (or other plain rolls)
Directions
Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
Brown ground turkey till cooked all the way through, and remove grease (if there is any).
While it's browning, line a glass baking dish with aluminum foil (enough to fold over and cover the burgers).
Cut the rolls in half to form little hamburger buns. It's easiest if you leave them all attached and cut all the way through. Leave roll bottoms in the aluminum lining. Leave tops off.
Once meat is done, mix in light mayo, cheese, and onion soup mix. Spread mixture over the bottom half of the rolls. Replace roll tops and cover with aluminum foil. This will help the hamburgers steam.
Bake for 15-20 min. Remove from oven, take off aluminum foil, and use a knife to cut and separate the burgers.
They're great served with some baked shoe string fries.
Each burger is considered a serving.
