Introduction

Replace oil and butter with tofu....use whole wheat flour....makes a low fat, low carb snack/dessert. Replace oil and butter with tofu....use whole wheat flour....makes a low fat, low carb snack/dessert.
Number of Servings: 16

Ingredients

    Put Raisins and Cranberries in a bowl and cover with boiling water. Set aside.

    Then, Set aside in a bowl:

    1.5 cup Wheat FLour
    1 tsp Baking Soda
    1/2 tsp salt

    Also, set aside:
    1/2 tsp Cloves
    1/2 tsp Nutmeg
    1/2 tsp Allspice
    1/2 tsp Mixed Spices (or any combo)


    BLEND THESE IN FOOD PROCESSOR UNTILL SMOOTH:

    300g Silken Tofu (Soft, dessert style)
    1 Cup applesauce, homemade, sweetened with a little splenda and mixed spices

    ADD and mix together:

    1/4 cup Splenda white
    1/4 semi-packed Splenda Brown Sugar


    Then add the flour mixture and mix by pulsing untill all moistoned and combined

    ADD the spices and mix together
    .

    If mix is dry, add a splash of orange juice.

    Add the oats, drained raisins, and some white or milk chocolate chips (optional)

    Bake at 170c for 25 minutes or until done.
