Introduction

I can't remember where I got the original recipe, but I've updated it a little and it's definitely my favorite beef crockpot recipe. You can eat it like pot roast, or mix in some egg noodles. Ingredients

3 lb round tip, arm roast, brisket, etc (whatever cut you want)
    1 tbl black pepper
    3 cloves of garlic
    4 tbl balsamic vinegar
1/4 cup low sodium soy sauce
    2 tbl worcestershire sauce
2 tbl Grey Poupon (or 2 tsp dry mustard)

Directions

*If eating as pot roast, it will serve at least 8*
Rub the black pepper and garlic onto the beef and put it in the crockpot. Cut some slits into the meat. Mix all the other ingredients and pour over the roast. Cook all day. If you want to make beef and noodles, you can tear up the meat and use everything in the crockpot and mix with pasta.

    Very Good
This was quite good. Meat was tender and flavorful. Super simple recipe and offered a different taste for the normal crockpot roast. The balsamic vinegar gave it a nice tang. I will definitely make this again. - 7/14/09
