Introduction
This is a healthier version of banana pudding and very yummy too!! This is a healthier version of banana pudding and very yummy too!!Number of Servings: 15
Ingredients
-
Kraft Jello-o Brand Fat Free Sugar Free Pudding, Cheesecake flavor
2 cups Milk, nonfat
6 ozs canned, evaporated skim milk
8 ozs low fat cream cheese
1/2 cup Splenda
1 1/2 cup Whipped topping, frozen, low fat (like Cool Whip)
4 medium bananas, fresh
7 ozs Vanilla Wafers, lower fat
Directions
Whisk cheesecake pudding mix with two cups cold milk in medium bowl for two minutes. Set aside. Using larger bowl, blend evaporated skim milk with splenda. Then, add cream cheese and beat until creamy. Add Jello pudding and mix well. Add whipped topping gently by folding it in but not mixing it.
Using either a large serving bowl or 2.5 quart serving dish, begin layering the dessert. Start with a layer of wafers, then sliced bananas, then layer the pudding. Do at least 2-3 layers ending with at least a thin layer of pudding to avoid browning of the banana slices. I decorate the top with a few vanilla wafers too :)
