    1 lb Broccoli Rabe
    1 lb Whole Wheat pasta
    3 tbsp olive oil
    1/2 cup chopped olives
    4 large garlic cloves
    1/4 to 1/2 tsp crushed red pepper flakes


Wash Broccoli Rabe, cut into 1/2 inch pieces. Blanch in a large pot of salted boiling water for 1-2 minutes. Remove from pot with a slotted spoon and drain. Save 1/4 cup of the water.
Bring water to boil again. Add paster and cook per package directions. Meanwhile heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add Garlic, olives and red pepper. Stir and cook until garlic is tender but not brown, about 2 - 3 minutes.
Add Broccoli Rabe and reserved water to the skillet. Cook and stir 3 to 5 minutes or until just tender. Add drained paster to skillet and toss to mix well. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.
