Introduction
I started making this "salad" in the early '80s as a child. It was even included in my mom's company's employee cookbook in '84 under the title "Janeal's Favorite Salad."This version substitutes less-fat, less-sugar ingredients but keeps its yummy flavor. I hope you enjoy it!

Ingredients

8 oz. tub - Lite Whipped Topping (like Cool Whip Lite)
2 cups - Lowfat Cottage Cheese
8 oz. can - Crushed Pineapple, drained well
4 serving box - Sugar-Free Jello (your choice of flavor....I like Mixed Fruit)
1/4 cup - Splenda No Calorie Sweetener
Directions
In medium bowl, combine drained pineapple, Splenda, and jello mix. Mix in cottage cheese. Let sit 30 minutes.
Stir mixture again. Fold in whipped topping. Divide into small cups or bowl. Serve and enjoy!
Makes about 6 - one cup servings.
