I used carrot cake mix, instead, and added walnuts. These were very good and moist. - 9/25/07

Ok I have to jump in too. I loved these! I can't wait to make more - maybe with walnuts next time. Like others, I opted for mini's and went with 350/16 min. I think it came out to about 4 dz that way. - 10/11/10

Excellent! I made mini muffins instead of regular size, as I had a group to cook for. They loved them. I only baked the mini muffins for 13 minutes at 350. - 10/5/10

Actually, Marasca, yes, this is a recipe, and a good one. Maybe you should take the time to try something before you bash it and the person who was kind enough to share it. One classic way to do this is with devil's food cake mix. It makes great (low-fat and filling) chocolate muffins. I love this. - 9/23/10

Awesome! I baked them on 350 instead and added one serving of chocolate chips. We love them for breakfast! - 1/20/10
