Ingredients

1 Pillsbury Reduced Fat Refridgerated Crescent Roll (refridgerate the remainder, or make some more for an after-school snack or appetizers for poker night!)

1 Slice of Kraft 2% American Cheese (Don't use the Kraft Free - it does not melt as well)

1 Whole Green Chile, fresh or from can, cleaned

Directions

Preheat oven to 375 degrees.

Cut a slit about 2" length in the green chile. Slice Kraft single into strips, and insert into the chile. Wrap crescent roll around the chile, making sure to cover the slit with the cheese, to make one relleno. Place with the roll's seam down on a cookie sheet.

Bake relleno(s) for 12-15 minuntes, until golden brown (or according to package directions if using another brand).

Pair with a soup or main dish, or eat on its own as a snack or light lunch.

Optional: Top with salsa, or spray roll with Parkay spray (not included in nutritional facts)
