Ingredients

    1 pound 93% lean ground beef
    2 cans beef gravy
    8 ounce can of mushroom stems and pieces
    1/2 chopped cup green bell pepper
    1/2 chopped cup red bell pepper
    1/2 chopped cup onion
    1 toe minced garlic
    a couple swigs of Worchestershire sauce
    dash of cayenne pepper
    pinch of coarse ground pepper
    pinch of dried parsley

Directions

Heat cast iron skillet. Add ground beef, onions, Worchestershire sauce, and seasonings. Saute until onions begin to turn translucent. Add peppers and mushrooms and cook until beef is thoroughly cooked. Drain if necessary. Add canned gravy and simmer until gravy is heated. Serve over rice, potatoes or pasta.

Yields three one-cup servings.
