Ingredients
* Water, tap, 1.25 cup (8 fl oz) (remove)
* Brown Sugar, 6 tsp unpacked (remove)
* Yeast, bakers, 1 ounce (remove)
* *Fleischmann's Yeast (instant dry yeast), 3 tsp (remove)
* Salt, 1.5 tsp (remove)
* *Whole Wheat Flour, 3.25 cup (remove)
* *Bob's Red Mill Vital Wheat Gluten, 0.5 cup (remove)
Directions
In large bowl, dissolve yeast, brown sugar, and ginger in warm water.
Let stand 5 minutes until yeast foams.
Add salt, 2 cups flour, and gluten; beat well.
Stir in the rest of the flour in small increments to make a stiff dough.
Turn out onto lightly floured board and knead 10 minutes or until dough is springy, smooth and satiny.
Wash bowl, grease it, and add dough to bowl; turn over to grease top. let rise at least a half hour.
Bake in 400 degree oven until it sounds hollow when you knock on the top.
