Introduction

Another Christmas favorite from my sister! Another Christmas favorite from my sister!
Number of Servings: 60

Ingredients

    3 cup sifted flour

    ½ teaspoon salt

    1 teaspoon baking soda

    1 cup butter

    1 cup sugar

    ½ cup packed brown sugar

    2 eggs

    2 Tablespoons water

    1 teaspoon vanilla

    ½ lb Fannie May hostess mints (or Andes mints)

    Pecan halves



Directions

Sift together flour, soda, salt. Set aside. Cream butter. Add sugars. Add eggs, vanilla & water. Add flour. Cover & refrigerate for at least 2 hours.

Take approximately 1 Tablespoon of dough and wrap around ½ an Andes mint (this is hardest thing to do. You just want enough dough to enclose the mint). Put on a greased cookie sheet. Top with a pecan half. Bake @ 375 degrees for 10-12 minutes.
Makes 5 dozen.
