    1 lb extra lean ground beef
    1/2 cup uncooked rice
    1/2 cup water
    1/3 cup chopped onion
    dash of salt
    1 tsp celery salt
    15 oz can of tomatoe sauce
    1/3 tsp garlic powder
    1/4 can water
    2 T worstishire sauce
    1 green pepper seeded & chopped


Preheat Oven to 350 degrees. combine first 6 ingredients. Make into meatballs. place in pan. combine the remaining ingredients. pour over meatballs. cover. cook 45 minutes covered. uncover and continue to cook an additional 15 mins

  • I had to change a few adding 2 eggs to the meat mixture so the meatballs wouldn't fall apart, for my own sanity. I also didn't have a green pepper, so that was omitted. Overall the recipe tasted great, but everyone at my table agreed it needed a bit more sauce. - 1/10/12
