Ingredients

    1 cup butter
    .75 cup sugar
    1 egg
    .5 tsp vanilla
    2.5 cup flour
    1 tsp baking powder
    .25 tsp salt

Directions

beat butter, sugar, egg and vanilla.

blend flour, baking powder and salt

combine wet and dry and drop by spoon on to ungreased cookie sheet. pat smooth.

Bake at 350 for 10 to 12 minutes

top with butter frosting
