Ingredients

    1 1/3 cups flour
    1 teaspoon baking powder
    1/2 teaspoon salt
    1 cup butter
    1 cup cocoa
    2 cups sugar
    4 eggs
    1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla

Directions

Stir together flour, baking podwer and salt in a small bowl.
2Melt butter in a large saucepan. Remove from heat. Stir in cocoa. Blend in sugar, eggs and vanilla. Blend in dry ingredients and nuts if using. Pour batter into a greased 9x13in pan.
3Bake for 30-35 minutes at 350°F Cool.
