Introduction
So good and fairly easy. Very spicy as well. So good and fairly easy. Very spicy as well.Number of Servings: 6
Ingredients
-
1/4 cup of red wine vinegar
1 clove of garlic
2 Large tomatoes
1 Large Onion
serrano peppers (I used 5 but anywhere from 1-whatever; 5 is VERY VERY spicy)
2 Tablespoons of Fresh Basil
2 Tablespoons of Fresh Parsley
Directions
Heat vinegar until it boils on medium-high heat. Throw in garlic and onions for 3 minutes. Add peppers and tomatoes. Turn heat to low and let it cook 20 minutes. While sauce is cooking, cook the pasta. Add them together after sauce and pasta are done and serve.
Makes 6 1/2 cup servings of sauce, pasta not included in nutritional info.
Note: Instead of using it in a pasta dish, I cut a green bell pepper in half and filled it with this sauce and then sprinkled some fat-free mozzarella on it It was WONDERFUL!
