Introduction

Simple, easy to make flour tortillas. They are also cheap to make and taste good. Simple, easy to make flour tortillas. They are also cheap to make and taste good.
Number of Servings: 4

Ingredients

    1/4 tsp salt
    1 ounce water
1/2 cup white flour (could use whole wheat I would think)
    1/4 tsp baking powder

Tips

These would be awesome with dips, hummus, as a base for pizzas or on their own.

Directions

Combine all ingredients into a bowl and mix. Dough should combine in to a single ball. If this doesn’t happen, add a little more water incrementally until it does.
Cover the dough with a wet towel or cloth for ~15 minutes.
Split dough into 4 balls. Roll into round shapes.
Flour the counter.
Take each ball and roll out into a very flat circle.
Take each circle and place onto an ungreased skillet.
Cook over medium heat until tortilla starts to show brown spots.

Serving Size: Makes 4 roughly 6 inch tortillas

    Good
It was incredibly quick and easy and my family begged for more! The only issues I had with them was as they cooled they began to break apart and were harder to work with (I was using them for breakfast burritos). I also had to change the serving suggestion because with 1 ball =a paper thin 4" tort. - 10/13/18
