I substituted the dry white beans for 3 cans well drained and used a can of rotel instead of salsa and chilli peppers. I loved it and so did by family. - 2/2/08

This is the most filling recipe I've tried so far. I had it for lunch and almost couldn't eat dinner. The taste is very comparable to what Ruby Tuesday serves. I was very pleased. - 2/4/08

  • Made this for supper tonight; very good and DH loved it! I cut the recipe down (there's only 2 of us) and toned down the heat a bit by just using canned green chilis and no jalapenos. I mashed some of the beans, to give it a thicker texture. - 10/29/12

  • This was pretty good. I made the recipe exactly as it was posted, except in the crockpot. It could have used an extra kick, so next time I will add a can of rotel. - 3/24/12
