OK, this recipe is for CUPCAKES!!!! It is easy and low calorie and tastes great! If you want to eat spinach as a treat, be my guest. When I am craving something sweet and yummy, this will do just fine! Get a life!
What am I doing wrong? These taste good, but they were completely ruined b/c every single one stuck to the paper liner :-( I read that it was due to it being so low fat, but c'mon, give us novices a warning here! I made 2 batches for a party, and not one survived! Really frustrating!!
Just made these tonight and used a lemon cake mix. I used a loaf pan and they turned out great! Obviously the calorie count changes but I didn't have the room to store that many cupcakes. I'll be making these again!
These moist treats taste yummy and we're super easy to make. People that dissed these because they aren't healthy seem to have ignored the fact that they are cupcakes and weren't advertised as being "healthy," but simply as easy to make and lower in calories than some versions. Thank you MommaCakes!
I find the sodium to be much too high for someone having high blood pressure. Also do not like using (0) calorie anything but water, because the lower the counters the higher the sodium and sugar. I go for things real easy and that I will give it. Healthy (NO)
The point of using box mix is, convenience! Using skim milk and fat free pudding helps keep the 'low fat' balance. Check the nutrition facts!! It's tasty, thank you!
I made this using sugar free cake mix and the fat free sugar free pudding, I also added a tsp of lemon extract and it was wonderful. My grand kids loved them.Thank you for a great recipe.
All that sugar & premixed cake mix is just feeding addictions to poor food choices. We need to re-think our habits and learn to love healthy foods, break sugar, processed food & white flour additions if we want to make real changes. I lost 30 lbs on Ideal Protein - Plan D diet changed my life
Has anyone tried using Pillsbury's sugar-free yellow cake mix? How did that work? I think I'll give this a try the next time I'm craving something sweet!
Cake mix? Really - how ross - and one commenter is feeding these to her kids as their breakfast - eeeww! look t the sodium levels! And...no longer a surprise, once again the photo does not match the recipe!
How come there is a glaze/frosting on top but no recipe for that? And is it included in the calorie count? I wish the picture matched the recipe.
These are awesome! But when I put the recipe into the caculator because I am using 2% milk and a different cake mix. I quite a different calorie amount mine came out to 25 calories per serving. I made 24 cupcakes. Am I missing something
These are so easy!!! I used 1 c. milk & 6 oz light vanilla yogurt because I didn't have 2 c. of milk. I also added extra blueberries on the top. The calories changed just a little bit with my changes. Great recipe!! Thanks for sharing!
This is a freakin AWESOME recipe! I also used a lemon cake mix & vanilla pudding. I also added a serving of GenSoy protein powder. I havn't cooked much with protein powder, but this worked great. Next time I'm going to add 2 servings of powder. Can't wait to try different variations of fruit.
Made these today - excellent. I couldn't find fat free lemon pudding mix so I switched to a lemon cake mix and fat free vanilla pudding mix! They were excellent and the recipe is a keeper for sure!
