great, I used 1/2 c of sugar and 1/4c of brown sugar with a drop of vanilla.
Easy to make. My recipe made 18 muffins, so for my SP tracking = 136.5 calories, or 1-1/3 servings. I used unsweetened apple sauce and baked for 20 minutes.
Does anybody tried it with some other fruit with less calories?

These were very good. I did use egg beaters instead of an egg. Took the calories and cholesterol down a bit.
This recipe is outstanding!! I used butter instead of applesauce and mini choc chips.I added a crumble topping,I used 6 tbs of brown sugar,2 tbs of butter,and 2 tbs of flour,I made 12 muffins,i filled the muffin cups slightly over 3/4 full,and put the crumble top over batter,22 min bake time.
I tried this recipe and feel it is the BEST ever for consistency and low calories without the melted butter.
Will be trying this one. Need some recipes to add carbs to my diet. Never seem to get enough.
this looks great. I wonder what is the sugar amount in each muffin.
I made these with 2 bananas (all I had) Splenda sugar, 1/2 C applesauce (unsweetened) and it came out awesome. Didn't use muffin papers, but used pam in the cups and 12 muffins came out great.
Taste very good but only got 17 they are tiny. Not worth that many calories in my opinion. But they do taste really good.
I really hate to be a negative Nancy but I didn't like these at all. If I were to try to make them again. I would definitely go without the salt and less sugar. Also I think my bananas should have been more ripe. Who knows.. but definitely not for me.
