Nutrition & Calorie Comments

Gotta try this on my kids... all three are lactose intolerant and love soy milk (especially chocolate). For them I can use the recipe as is. For me I probably will switch to low fat (need to lose weight + no gall bladder).
Sounds good- I plan to add my whey protein to mine. Pat
Since I have to limit my soy intake, I will try this w/ sugar free almond milk. Thanks for sharing.
Try Soy Slender chocolate Soy Milk, it only has 70 calories in a cup, the Light Soy milks have too much sugar and fat otherwise.
Just made this today, loved it, used light choc soy. It was the best for a night time snack without all the bad calories. thanks
This is great! A way to add more potassium without eating another banana . I eat at least 3 per day and I still fall below my nutritional requirement.

I've never tried soy milk and I'm adding it to my grocery list for the weekend so I can try this.
Probably could even add some pysillium husks for fiber.
I've heard that when you freeze a banana for use in a protein drink that it doesn't something good to it.
This is great! I used 1/2 cup low fat almond chocolate milk and 1/2 banana. I also freeze bananas before they overripen. I slice them in thick slices, coat them with lemon juice before freezing. They are all ready to pop in a shake in any amount you like. I added 1 tsp cocoa powder for extra flavor
I use skim milk, low carb chocolate syrup , add a tablespoon of peanut butter and a handful of quick oats and ooohh its sooo good!
Yum. I ust made this. I used a frozen banana, 1/2 cup of chocolate soy, 1/2 cup skim milk (to cut calories), 1 TB cocoa to increase chocolate flaovr and 1 TB protein powder. Very good. Will make this all the time now.
If you want to make something similar with non-chocolate milk (which often has added sugar), just add about 1/2 to 1 tbsp of cocoa powder to milk and banana. The banana provides enough sweetness to make it taste really yummy!
I put only half a banana in. then with the saved calories i added half a scoop of chocolate protein powder. The added protein is what keeps me full and satisfied.
Thanks! This was delicious!!! It was also very filling, and healthy: few kcal, low fut, high fiber. Well done!
GREAT WITH NON FAT MILK TOO!
My absolute favorite - I eat it at least 4-5 times a week. I substitute a no sugar soy milk or vanilla soy milk to save calories!
