    To CHEFTATHEART

I make a very close variation of this, and it does not call for onions. It should be just fine without! I add sunflower seeds and cider vinegar to mine though. Yum!

    hi,

My husband is alergic to onions. Would it work out without them. We are used to not having onions. Sometimes I make 3/4 for him without onions and a quarter for me with onions. Would the flavour be OK for him without? I suppose I could add a bit of garlic (roasted).
