I am not sure what the person who gave this 1 star did wrong, but this meatloaf was delicious!!! It was by far the most moist meatloaf I have ever had. There was not a dry piece!!! Thank you to whomever wrote this recipe. It is fabulous and I will use it over and over. Please try this!!! - 12/30/09

I thought it was ok, but my husband didn't care for it. It was so different from the usual meatloaf we have. Not necessarily bad. - 12/17/13

ChefNasus is right. I found other recipe and it's 2.25 cups of bread crumbs for 10 lbs. of meat. The ratio is 2 lbs. of ground beef to .45 cups of bread crumbs. - 12/28/10

This is one of the best meatloafs I've tried!! I had to adjust the recipe, cutting back to 1 egg & cut back the bread crumbs to 1 1/4 cup or so, just to texture. Delish! - 8/20/10

VERY disappointed, not in the recipe but in the poster of this recipe. Number one, whoever wrote the first review had to have an incredible DRY meatloaf because the amount on the bread crumb ratio is for 10 lbs of ground beef, not 2. And the directions offer two baking sets, also wrong. - 10/5/08

We couldn't stop eating it! I do think next time, I will leave off the .25 cup of breadcrumbs and just go with 2 cups. Also, this recipe was enough to make 2 meatloaves, so I froze one and baked the other one. It was delicious, easy and the family LOVED it! YAY!!! It's a keeper. - 12/15/17

    Very Good
cracker barrel's meatloaf is my husband's favorite and he really enjoyed this. I did reduce the amount of bread crumbs down to half a cup for 2lbs of meat. - 6/2/13

I ride horses, I don't cook! Now, thanks to this reciepe, I AM a FABULOUS cook! Didn't have any green pepper and only 1 egg, I added some garlic and used five pieces of toast for bread crumbs! AWESOME! Thank you! - 1/14/13

I will have to try this. I work at Cracker Barrel and love their meatloaf. I do need to make a correction to what somebody above me said about Cracker Barrel's meatloaf. It is NOT pre-made and definitely does NOT come in a tube. It's homemade just like 95% of the food searved there. - 4/23/12

I don't know what the problem was regarding bread crumbs. I followed the recipe exactly, using the 2-1/4 cups of very fine crumbs (Progresso) and was able to form a loaf and place it on a rack in a pan. It came out beautifully. I drained (14-1/2 oz) can of tomatoes, although the recipe didn't say. - 4/12/11

well..... I worked at Cracker Barrel in Spartanburg, SC (store #47) for SEVEN YEARS..... And....sorry...... but their meatloaf comes PREMADE.... IN A TUBE. They just cut the tube open and drop it into a pan. - 3/25/11

Have not made this yet because i am concerned about the amount of bread crumbs. One recipe calls for 10 lbs hamburger and 2.25 cups of bread crumbs and another calls for 2 lb hamburger and 2.25 cups of bread crumbs. Which is correct? - 8/12/10

I just ate meatloaf at Cracker Barrel and it is soooooo good. This recipe is so close I believe it's the original.I used Plain fine ground bread crumbs(Chefs cupboard brand) and it was so moist. Can't wait to share this with a friend who also loves their meatloaf. - 6/25/10
