Ingredients

4 oz. 1/3 less fat cream cheese, softened
    13 oz. cooked chicken, shredded
1/2 Tbs. dried minced onion, rehydrated
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    1/4 tsp. garlic powder
    1/4 tsp. basil
    1/4 tsp. paprika
1 cans Reduced Fat Pillsbury Crescent Rolls

Directions

Combine the cream cheese, chicken, minced onion, and seasonings.
Open crescent rolls. DO NOT divide into triangles. Keep every 2 triangles together, forming 4 rectangles.

Pinch the seams closed and pat each one out into a larger square.

Put 1/4 of the of chicken/cream cheese mixture into the center of each square. Fold the corners up into the center, layering like flower petals so the roll is sealed. (It may look messy but just make sure there are no holes.)

Place on a lightly greased cookie sheet and bake at 375 degrees until golden brown, about 15-20 minutes.

I have been making this recipe for years for my family! The only thing I do differently is that I sub dill weed for the paprika and garlic powder. - 9/17/13
