I would use fresh cut up vegetables like summer squash, garlic, onion, red peppers, cauliflower, broc. , instead of frozen veggies. And i would use organic vegetable broth, low sodium - 4/25/11

Going to make this tonight! Will use veggie broth instead of chicken broth, and I will boil the pasta in the broth first for more flavour, then use the broth to cook the rest of the veggies, plus an onion and some garlic! - 4/25/11

This seems a little bland to me--I would probably add garlic at the very least--maybe some rosemary or other spices. Very quick and easy however! - 6/2/08

I haven't made this soup yet, but am looking forward to it. The only thing is.....how much is a serving. I assume it must be one cup. I like the information to be specific. - 6/2/08

Good! I don't no how to translate grams of sodium into percentage of daily use. I use low sodium broths or make my own adding no salt to water I boil veggies or chicken in. - 6/2/08

Sounds delish except I would use fresh veggis (I rarely buy frozen ones) but the frozen ones would definitely save time if you need to! I wouldn't add the pasta to the soup unless I know we will finish it in one sitting because it will absorb all the broth as leftovers. - 6/2/08

SOUNDS SO EASY AND SO GOOD BUT NO SOY B/C OF THE SODIUM ADD TOMATOS - 6/2/08

Agree that I would increase the initial liquid by adding water to the broth and boil the noodles in it. Fewer pots to clean. Great simple, tasty recipe. - 6/2/08

I would save a step and put the pasta in with the liquid when cooking the veggies - 6/2/08

To be "veggie" I would not use chkn broth, but rather veggie broth or water as a base. - 6/2/08

I would sub the chicken broth for veggie broth to keep it vegetarian, and add other flavor enhancers such as garlic, canned tomatoes, fresh herbs and a cup of beans for fiber. Then you've got more of a real meal. - 6/4/08
