although I didn't make this recipe exactly, I have made recipes similar enough to this one to know this recipe is delicious. For those who object to the high calorie content, I would like suggest using light 40 calorie per slice bread and egg whites no yolk. that should cut the calories nicely. - 11/2/07

I made it camping (X3) in a dutch oven (with a bail instead of a lipped lid) over the fire. I set it on a grate over the coals. I stirred it every 5 minutes for around 30 minutes. Instead of yougurt, use whipped cream . It turned out perfect and I'm still hearing about how I outdid myself! - 5/7/09

This is a really good "Cooking Light" type of recipe; real ingredients with substitutions made where appropriate. If you are in the mood for bread pudding, but want a healthier version that still tastes like bread pudding, this is the recipe! - 6/18/07

We love serving this recipe for Christmas Eve. I usually stick a peppermint candy stick in it, along with a fresh leaf of mint, just to keep with the season. I like the idea of lowering the calories! We've never tried it with ice cream or yogurt; maybe we will give it a run. - 7/28/09

One thing that I wonder is if the recipe includes the frozen yogurt? I used egg beaters and skim milk, a little bit more chocalte chips. It was satisfying and very easy! It's silly to harsh on this recipe--lots of Spark ones aren't totally low calorie, and substitutions are easy. - 5/2/09

I use this as a once every other week treat for my self. Studies have shown that if you don't do one day of non diet foods that it is easier to forget about dieting and just go back to your bad habits. So once every 2 weeks I have a day that I eat the foods that I won't, and still maintain my diet. - 5/3/08

Bread pudding is one of my all time favorite "go to" recipes. This chocolate cinnamon version makes a great winter time dessert (hard to beat the aroma of the chocolate/cinnamon combination baking in the oven). I added sliced bananas to the recipe last time I made it--maybe cherries next time. - 10/21/09

I made this tonight, it was really good. I made it with Splenda brown sugar, but used regular eggs. Egg substitutes make me nervous. I should probably try it out. Anyway, I really thought it was good. It doesn't really need the extra morsels you add on top, so next time I make it I omit them - 8/2/09

SUGARBABY6, the grams of sugar is included in the total carbs. As diabetics we have to consider ALL carbs, not just sugars. I have never counted sugar grams, only carbs. Hope that helps.
