Introduction

Low fat version of one of my favorite desserts Low fat version of one of my favorite desserts
Number of Servings: 2

Ingredients

    I medium sized Banana- Sliced
    1/4 cup of packed brown sugar
    2 Tablespoons of "I can't believe it's not butter, light

    1cup Edy's Fat free frozen Yogurt

Directions

In a saucepan melt the 2 tablespoons of "I can't believe it's not butter" over medium heat. Add the 1/4 of brown sugar. Gently stir until a thick syrup forms. Cook for 2 minutes or until the sugar is melted. Add the sliced bananas and stir to coat evenly. The bananas should cook until golden brown. In seperate serving bowls, spoon 1/2 cup of Edy's Fat Free frozen vanilla yogurt. Seperate the banana mixture into two servings and top the ice cream. Serve immediately.

*I choose to omit the rum or rum extract, but this can be added after the mixture is cooked and the bananas have been added

    Tried it with frozen bananas and tried it with fresh bananas. I recommend the fresh. So does the wife and kids. I was surprised how easy this was. - 2/25/11
