What a great option for a sweet treat that isn't full of sugars and preservatives. I didn't let my bananas thaw enough so I had to add a little milk to get it moving. I can't wait to try this with other fruits, peanut butter or even a bit of chocolate :) I'm sharing this with so many people. - 9/18/11

My comment involves the nutritional information provided. The recipe calls for two bananas. It says that the recipe makes two servings. That would mean that one serving would actually be one whole banana, but the nutritional data seems to be based on a serving size of one half banana. Correct? - 7/12/11

made it last night...AWESOME! I added a little milk b/c I was using a blender instead of a food processor so I had to help it a little, a lil coconut, vanilla and cinnamon. To make sure I kept it healthy I used skim milk, just a bit of coconut and if it needed more flavor I just added cinnamon. - 11/3/09

I love this stuff! To keep the banana flavor from becoming too overwhelming (I make a LOT of stuff with bananas, so it doesn't take long to get tired of the flavor) I like to add toppings like other fruit, softened dates, or fat free ice cream toppings. Sometimes I add PB2 to the bananas :) - 5/3/13

Brilliant recipe; simplicity at it's best! I couldn't believe how delicious and similar to ice cream blended frozen bananas would be! The possibilities for add-ins are endless and as long as you keep the add-ins healthy choices, you have a scrumptious "I can't believe this isn't ice cream" treat! - 8/9/11

I tried this...yummy! Had to add some almond milk to get my food processor going. I added a little vanilla also. I don't know why anyone would add any sweetener, it is very sweet. Not as smooth as soft serve, due to ice crystals, but a great substitute when you can't have dairy or soy ice cream. - 6/26/10
