I didn't have rice cereal so I ground up some wheat flakes. And instead of dipping in egg whites, I let my chicken marinate in some buttermilk for about 15 minutes (it's healthier than most people think and really enhances the ranch flavor). I took others' advice and only used 1/2 of a packet. Great - 1/27/09

I made this this afternoon after considering the comments -- I crushed the rice cereal in a plastic bag wtih a rolling pin and then cut back on the dry dressing mix by about 1.5 tablespoons. Baked at 350 for nearly an hour, and the flavor was great, and it was really juicy. Will make again! - 1/24/09

I really enjoyedit! But found it difficult to get the crispies to stick. I will crush them next time. Also, I think the ranch was a little too much. I feel a little bloated from the salt intake... I would make again, as my husband love it! I will just make a few modifications next time. I recommend! - 1/23/09

This was awesome! I did like other people said and only used half of the ranch dressing mix. I also was able to make 6 chicken breasts out of the mixture stuff so plenty of leftovers for me. My husband even said it is "really Good" and he never says that. Thanks, I will definitly make again!! - 2/11/09

I used Fiesta Ranch mix & it gave it a nice flair. As many have said, you may want to use a bit less ranch dip than the recipie calls for...it was a bit salty in my batch too, but I think less powered ranch mix would have alleviated that. It was very good & my family approved :) Thanks for sharing! - 2/10/09

I would make this again, but will use flake cereal rather than Rice Krispies - or maybe bread crumbs has others have suggested. I used a much smaller package of ranch dressing than is called for and still felt like I could have cut it back some more. I love ranch, but too much gives it a salty tast - 2/7/09
