The only good thing about the negative comments is that people are reading the nutritional info. That in itself is a good thing. But if you don't want to make something then just don't make it. Thanks for sharing the idea. I can't get Girl Scout cookies here in Norway. Spark on! - 3/15/09

This is a great idea! Not sure why people have to be so negative about a 'not-so-low-calorie' recipe! The idea of Spark is to adjust your lifestyle to learn to incorporate & enjoy that type of stuff! Moderation & self-control!! - 12/26/08

I have made these before. There are complaints about the number of calories, but when you have cravings, it is better to have something to satisfly the cravings before they get out of hand. I would make them. They would take some time, but they would be cheaper than buying them. Thank you. - 12/18/09

I make something similar during the Holidays, but instead of the candy melts, I use almond bark (3 blocks chocolate and 1 block vanilla) and peppermint flavoring to coat them. I'm not sure how that would effect the calorie/fat numbers, but it's a good alternative if you can't find the candy melts. - 12/26/08

These were so easy to make and look and taste like the real thing!! I am gong to make these for Christmas gifts next year. Not really healthy, but probably lower in calories and fat than the real thing. Thank you for submitting this one! - 2/24/08

Actually, four Girl Scout cookies contain the same amount of calories as two of these...not that healthy after all. But they still taste good! - 4/5/07

Haven't tried these yet but probably will. Some comments on the # of calories, first are the real deal the same size or slightly smaller. Second, I can only get the real deal once a year, this would be any time I have the craving and the time. - 12/21/09

Hmmmm. Murray's has a new Sugar-Free Fudge-Dipped Chocolate MInt Cookie that is like the Thin Mints, but you get FOUR cookies per 126 calories and not two. - 2/20/09

I made these and they were yummy. I made them as gifts and wrapped them in florists paper tied with a bow. I think they are a great idea. I put a sprinkling of hazelnuts on every alternate biscuit and they looked great. Maybe not too healthy, but homemade and a lovely gift idea. Thanks Lorelei2 - 12/21/08

Not exactly what I call healthy dessert but they are very excellent and ACTUALLY taste like girl scouts thin mints. They also were so easy to make. I made them for a baby shower and I know no one is gonna believe me they aren't girl scouts, LOL! Loved them just wish there was a healthier version - 11/29/07

Made these for kids christmas party tonight. Used regular chocolate melts and crushed candy canes to put ontop before they cooled down. Major hit and I agree with Bikinibound, you have to learn to incorporate foods like this it's a lifestyle adjustment and self control is part of that! - 12/19/12

I couldn't find the peppermint melts so I used Tollhouse dark chocolate chips with mint filling and melted them in the microwave. I also used whole wheat ritz instead of the reduced fat and they turned out great! Super quick and easy to make - 7/25/15

With these, at least it's easier to stop after a few, without the compulsion to finish a whole sleeve of cookies! (Thin mints are my weakness, and they come in stacks in my mind. 3 stacks=a pack. And who can eat just one?! And only one stack left after that? Well, may as well just finish it. LOL... - 12/20/14

I'm thinking about trying to make them because my hubby loves thin mints 7 burns calories faster than he can put them in. He's a custodian. On Dr. Oz today, he suggested dipping bananas in dark chocolate to help your sex drive! - 11/12/10
