These were excellent! We made them for a party, and paired them with spaghetti. We omitted the onions, added garlic, and doubled the recipe except for the eggs and bread crumbs--used just one egg and 1 c bread crumbs. Delicious! Will use again! - 7/11/10

These were great! I made a few modifications: I added chopped thyme and rosemary and put my meatballs on a sprayed cookie sheet and broiled for 10-12 min, turning once halfway thru and I did not brown the onions. The kids loved them and a perfect pairing with pasta sauce and angel hair. - 1/24/13

Just made this for tonight's dinner. They are SOOO good! I did double the cumin and added some garlic powder, though next time I will use fresh garlic. Oh, and I used gluten free bread crumbs instead, since I am gluten intolerant. - 8/27/12

These remind me of the way I USED to make meatballs before my dear boyfriend talked me out of putting egg in! And this is the way meatballs are supposed to be! Chop onion & parsley fine. Use 1/2 t. each of cumin and ground nutmeg, in place of cumin. And plain breadcrumbs work just fine! - 12/31/10
