Ingredients

    1 can of Del Monte fresh cut green beans
    1 can of Del Monte fresh whole kernel corn
    1 pkg of Lawry's Brown Gravy Seasoning
    5 white potatoes
    2 tbsp butter
    .5 cup nonfat milk
    3 oz of ground beef
    1 tsp of salt

Directions

preheat oven to 350
cut up the potatoes, boil, strain, add milk, butter and salt. Mix or mash however you like. set aside.
brown beef on skillet. drain fat and place in bottom of glass baking pan.
make gravy as directed on package and pour over ground beef. strain corn and add over beef and gravy. strain and pour green beans over corn. Spread mashed potatoes over the top.
Place in oven for 30 minutes. You could also add cheese on the top for the last 10 minutes but it adds more calories and fat.

    Absolutely wonderful! My husband had seconds, then thirds. This recipe is super easy to adapt to your wants and needs also. Sodium? Use fresh veggies. Corn or beans not your thing? Use your favs. Love cheese? Add grated cheese to your potatoes when you mash them. Yummy! Thank you! - 1/5/11

    Is it a misprint that you only need 3 oz of ground beef? I used 1 lb of lean hamburger meat & it seemed just right. Delicious, by the way!! - 7/6/11

    @Bobbi09 - if you substituted fresh or frozen corn & green beans instead of the canned, it would cut the sodium and you could have some, too!
