we didn't like the crumbed burgers so since I have made it with Italian seasoned ground turkey. Very good with that substitution! - 5/6/11

Yummm! This is delicious. I've made it a few times now. I make just a few changes:
    -Eliminate the salt.
-Substitute either whole wheat or Barilla Plus pasta for extra fiber and protein.
-Add a small bag of frozen spinach.
-Morningstar or Boca crumbles work just as well as the pizza burgers.

MSF which is now owned by Kellogs, doesn't make 1/3 of the products they used to, and most are made with soy now. Think Kellogs and Loma Linda. Kelloggs invented Loma Linda canned meat substitutes, which is nothing but round blobs of soy. Sad loss of great foods. - 4/11/18

Kids liked, even though they knew it wasn't ground beef. I used half turkey burger, as I had some leftover. - 4/7/11

This was the first recipe I made with my new crock pot! We substituted in a Boca burger. I missed having vegetables and layers in my lasagna, but this is a decent recipe and you can always add in other things if you want 'em. My bf went back for seconds. - 2/14/10

This was pretty good...and filling. I also used ground turkey instead of the morning star burgers. - 2/10/10

Made with Morningstar Crumbles. My pasta got completely mushy eventhough I cooked it al dente before mixing it in. Not a lot of flavor. - 2/8/10

Tastes and smells very pizza-like...easy to make and serving sizes are large. This would be great for people with kids because of the strong pizza flavor. Hubby and I enjoyed it with garlic breadsticks. - 3/31/08

I loved this meal. We did change it up a little bit. We added ground turkey rather than the boca or morningstar. - 7/30/07

Easy to make, but the veggie burgers were icky. No one (not me, kids, hubby) would eat them. I may try to make again with ground turkey. - 7/16/07

The taste was just OK. It did not look appetising at all. It was easy to make. Should have added some crushed red pepper to spark it up a bit. Will not make again. Will - 5/19/07
