    1 1/2 c Cherry Tomatoes, halved
    1 c Fresh Mozzarella, Large Dice
    1/2 c Fresh Basil Leaves, Cut in strips
    1 1/2 Tbsp Olive Oil
    4 Tbsp Balsamic Vinegar

Directions

Mix all ingredients and refrigerate for 1 hour

    Love it! I too added cucumber, garlic, red onion, black olive and upped the olive oil and vinegar a bit to offset the extra veggies...but not too much! - 7/23/10

    This was such a heavenly reminder of all the fresh tastes from this past summer. Not to mention, I am especially glad that I brought in all of my potted herb plants to make them last just a little bit longer. - 11/5/09

    Love this recipe, but I leave out the vingear and olive oil and just let the whole thing sit in the fridge overnight instead (the juice from the halved tomatoes seeps out and soaks in the basil) so you don't even need a "dressing" for it). - 6/21/17

    I love this salad. It's very good and a nice change. It only keeps for about a day so if your only making it for one or two people you might want to cut back on the ingredients. It's much better fresh. - 12/16/15
